Alpine White E92 M3 At SEMA
I can't say the car blew me away in person like the E46 M3 did when I saw it the first time.

Thanks. For some reason I am not feeling the whole look on that particular shot.

The e46m3 set the bar pretty darn high. I was so in love with that car back in college. The e92 m3 feels like just another m3... I admit it's still a great car but that aurora or halo, whatever you call it is gone.

White isn't very flattering as a lot of the details disappear. I guess I'm in the minority though because I don't think the E46 M3 can hold a candle to the E92 M3. And I like the E46 quite a bit.

I hope that was just temporary and they have a more elegant solution. They are so unsightly, it's almost a dealbreaker detail for me. |

It looks like the side reflector is incorporated into the side fender vent splitter.
Edit - I guess this is just the turn indicator perhaps. Last edited by RandyB; 11-01-2007 at 09:27 AM.. |

These pictures just do not do it justice and the wheels are awful! I've seen the car in white in real life and it looks stunning. One of the best colours, IMHO, and I hate white cars! In fact, if I wasn't so scared about residuals, as the UK market traditionally punishes white cars, I'd be tempted to order my next one on white...

I believe randy was talking about the pics we've seen of M3s with the ambers tacked on to the bumper in a last-minute-looking fashion. Its possible those are final, but its also possible that we'll get the bicycle reflectors like those on the non-M E92. |

It seems very probably that the facelifted (MY2009) E90 3 will also get the bicycle reflectors as well. Quote:

FWIW, this SEMA car is not US spec.
Attachment 109663 Attachment 109664 Attachment 109665 Attachment 109666 No reflectors. Unless of course, they are the tack on type and were removed. But I somewhat doubt that. |
