Official BimmerPost Photo Contest #38: Square

BACKGROUND:

Square: four sides of equal length.

THEME:

Let's see some images with squares being the subject of the frame. Does NOT need to be more than one square, but more than one is okay. If something is the subject of your frame, it does not need to be large and centered - it can be small as long as it is not lost. Small subjects need to have attention drawn to them by use of balance and line, or something easy like focus or negative space. If the subject is obviously not the square form, do not submit it! A photo of a Starbucks logo can be thought of as the subject as opposed to its shape: the circle. Try to stay away from this!

IMPORTANT DATES:

Entries must be submitted to this thread no later than Monday, July 4th @ 11:59 PST. Voting begins the following day and ends on Saturday, July 9th.

RULES:

1. Any interpretation of the theme that falls within Bimmerpost.com rules is welcome.
2. You must be the person that took the photo. Previous photos are acceptable as long as you are the one that captured the image.
3. One submission per contest.
4. Images must be no larger than 800 px in any direction. Links to larger images are allowed but you must have one that is under 800px for the poll.
5. All contestants must host their own pictures (which includes hosting them on Bimmerpost).
6. All images must have a title.
7. While post processing in Photoshop is allowed, adding or removing parts of the picture is not. In the event a photo is suspected to be "photo-chopped," the contestant will be asked to provide the original picture.

I think I figured out what photo I'm gonna take for this contest. If I can't pull it off well enough, I guess I'm back to square one.

I think the issue is that many people submit a photo they've taken in the past. This time, the theme is narrow enough that there's a large chance you don't have an archived photo that fits the theme.

I like it though... it gives us the potentially rare opportunity to get off our lazy asses and shoot something.

I've been looking around but I've really begun to see that squares are far rarer than rectangles. Sitting in my office chair I can point out a dozen different rectangles. Only one square, though.
