BPM Stage II Tune or Turner Stage II Tune
I'm getting the TTP for my car, and I've been debating which tune to get, Turner or BPM both Stage II. I've read countless of posts on BPM Tune, all great things, and I have not heard anything from Turner, not only that, but I don't see Turner actively on this forum, which is kind of a let down.... My debate is.... If I'm getting the TTP it just makes sense to get the Turner Tune since it's their product, and I'm sure they have tested over and over again with their Stage II Tune, on the other hand, BMP has tons of great reviews, and Mike is very pro-active on these forums.
Help me decide!!!! Thanks! |

Let us know if we can be of any assistance. The gains will likely be very similar although we offer a few features that they do not. Thanks!

Doesn't matter which test pipes you have (Turner, MS, ACM), they do the same thing and are all relatively identical. I am biased toward BPM as that is what I have (ACM pipes). So to answer your question, I would chose BPM...

Thanks for all the responses, it really helps. It looks like I will be going with Mike from BMP very hard to ignore so many great reviews. I still need to decide and price out the Test Pipes.... I'll respost with results.
Thanks again to everyone! |

I'm sure many of the tunes are very similar in performance, some are more popular than others which is evident from the forum discussions. One consideration is that once you buy the tune, there is no resale value since its vin locked. If you think you may supercharge sometime in the future, I think ESS, VF, and AA may allow you to upgrade to the SC kit and related tune at a discounted rate. Can anyone confirm that?
I have the BPM tune, its a great NA tune no doubt. Already I'm starting to get the itch for more power, and a SC may be in my future. I should have considered this myself earlier, but maybe if BPM starts doing FI tunes, I can buy a used SC kit and be in good shape! And Mike, while your at it, we could use a meth tune too! =P

I believe Turner uses GIAC for their tuning and although I am not saying GIAC is a bad tune, my experience with them when I had my 997S was that the tune wasn't that beneficial.
BPM all the way...you won't be disappointed. Dave

We do, although our focus is on NA until we have time to build a kit

Hijacking the thread ... used sports+ for the first time since getting the BPM Stage I, and almost peed in my pants when I floored the car. What response and the noise from the ///PE was just near formula 1. After this experience I am not sure whether I want to go down the path of Turner Test pipes and BPM Stage II. That will be licence to lose the licence in Australia.
Mike Benvo, what have you done man?

Reminds me of a customer we did BPM DCT software on. Testing out S5 mode got him pulled over. He said that S6 is definite jail time

I would say in the next 1-2 weeks. We have done it for a few cars on here already and hopefully they will chime in and let us know how it is.

OP, I would go with Benvo. Turner is a reputable company but it is much easier to go with a tune that has been run by many forum members with positive reviews. Mike is also a nice guy, he came up and complimented my car and introduced himself one time when I ran into him at a chipotle near my school.
