dude i was playing with a Si on jamboree the other day.... there were a lot of cars but he knew how to weave in and out so i tailed him so close and just followed... poor guy when he got to 110 mph he almost crashed into a cadillac

I can say that the Honda Civic V tech is pretty damn fast but can't take a 328i at least not mine and all I have is a Dinan CAI. I went at it couple of nights ago on my way home on the I80 west bound when some dude tried to give me a challenge(2 door NJ plates V-tech) and to be really honest I was just toying with him and it really seem like the guy was trying hard since I did reach speeds of 150 mph and of course just thinking about how much trouble I would be if a State trooper caught us. I sure did get home a lot faster since we broke off after the Delaware Gap toll booth.

Honda civic? Your talking about a non si? Your playing with a car with 100 HP.. The K series civic SI aren't a joke. It will smoke your 328i like nothing.

you probably raced base CIVIC dx/lx/ex stuff. You race the new SI with k series in 'em, you will get raped sideways. They'll take you on straight line AND in handling department. 325/328/330, all slow as hell. Though 330i manual is decent.

What's the K series? As far as I know, a Civic SI is a FWD car with a 2.0 4 banger that produces 197 hp at the crank. Why would a 328 have a problem with it?

The 328/330 doesn't handle any worse than a 335. In fact, it's probably a bit more balanced. What do you base the idea that a Civic would outhandle it on?

why does the OP keep getting pwned? I read some of his other threads about the 330 or 35 manifold upgrade, and it keeping up with a 335i and had a great dyno, but never came up with the dyno sheets or something.

K series is a high reving engine if you didn't know that. It will smoke a 328i,325i but not so sure about a 330i. You don't just look at HP.. power to weight ratio.. Bmw weigh as much as a boat.. its a fucking JDM car.. their shell is probably thinner than my CF splitters. Dont underestimate those things. You have a 335i you should be fine but if its boosted.. bye bye 335.

Considering you can break into a high 14 in a stock SI I'd like to say this is why most BMW guys are perceived to be the ultimate in douchebaggery. Especially considering the top 10 list of douche bag cars the 3 Series was on there because of the guys that drive them thinking they are either supremely fast or a high end caliber rival of a Bentley. If what was put in the original post was exactly what was said by YOU. I would say youre a tool box that might say the wrong thing to the wrong guy, either with a much faster car or on a night on the town. Knock out or lose the race. Both just may happen for ya
