I took a video today of startup and this is the 2nd time ive noticed it. Was the first time i started the car today in the afternoon.

On a 335 it is sometimes a symptom of a faulty fuel pump. I am sure that if there is a problem it will be resolved quickly.

Hey Fifth- I've not encountered this; however my cranks do vary from an instant start up to 2 quick cranks on start up. I'd just keep an eye on it and and see if it gets worse; if so, bring it in. That crank was a bit long, but I wouldn't worry too much.

Actually, now that I look at your video, it's not THAT long of a crank time. 335 would easy go twice that before starting. Still worth having it looked at, I suppose, but I think it's within the limits of what I'd consider normal.

Yeah, mine does that when it's cold. I don't think it's anything to worry about. It really isn't that long when you really think about it; it's just longer than when the engine is warm.

Same with mine bro. I think alot of others are having the same issue. I listened to yours as I did mine when i started noticing it and I really don't think it's that long.

It takes a long time to pump all that gas from the front to the back :P

Actually I've noticed that and I've already had to crank my car twice on one occasion. My friend's 2004 NSX does the same thing sometimes.

Fifth, that's the same as mine. Mine cranks longer when it's warm and been shut off for a few minutes, like at a gas station after getting gas. When it is cold, the crank is slightly shorter.

Seems pretty common based on responses here, I'm not concerned about it unless it begins not starting on the first try.

Thanks for the response guys, I was a bit concerned when comparing my startup to some other startup videos on youtube. Perhaps its different for cars that have already past 1,200 miles and are broken in.

should of obeyed the break in period closer, this is a symptom of bad break in...naw man jk, take it in and see what the doc says about it, usually on most cars that sounds like a faulty fuel pump..ive heard someone already had to get a new one on this forum, might wanna post a question about faulty fuel pump and see what you get from there....good luck

Didn't seem especially long to me--a couple seconds?

Fifth, I've noticed it on my car. Mine seems to do it only after sitting for an extended period of time...say overnight or all day at work. And my crank time was actually a little bit longer than yours on a couple of occasions. My first service is scheduled for 4/30 and I plan on mentioning it to the service mgr.

Hmmm...I've never experienced anything like this really, but it seems like it rings true for several people here.

Interesting, this is true for me too, that happened when the car was parked overnight and much of the next day.

Its probably nothing since most people here can agree that they have had similar crank times but some did mention theirs are instantaneous and I have heard instantaneous start ups too. Lets keep a eye out for this...
