Comfort access battery under maintenance plan?

the battery in my comfort access key fob is probably kaput. Is it covered under the 48 months/50,000 mile maintenance plan? I thought only tires were exempted.

Anyone know?

Thanks,

Jim

Mine was replaced, no charge, right at the parts counter.

3-4 bucks at the grocery store or pharmacy. Not a big deal and no need to wait. Swapped the battery in the parking lot while walking back to may car without stopping. It's really easy.

Just go buy it at the store like others mentioned. No need to wait at dealer to replace just for a $3.00 battery. Your time should be worth more than that.

If you have dollar stores in your area you can get them for a dollar. I have lots of different key fobs that all use the same battery. I got a pack of 25 off eBay for 10-15$

Heck, gas alone would be more than that . And even a 10-yr-old can change the battery .
