Test drove Maserati Gran Turismo again today

The thread started earlier about get rid of my 335i and now im heading to maserati. Today i set up an appointment for anothertest drive ( i test drove once but just around the corners) and drove like 10 mile. IMHO, its slow, doesnt handle as good as i expected, sluggish transmission. But the riding quality is good, not too stiff, nice exhaust note and 4 seater . Today there was a SL550 2009 sold at 70s and thats a sweet ride too. I own a 2003 sl500 but thats a totally different car. Different outlook and engine goes up from 5.0 to 5.5L. Alright now im looking for Maserati or 2009 SL550? that dealer gives me ballpark my 2009 335i + 2003 Sl500 + 23K cash on either maser or sl550, which is pretty near to my budget. Do you guys think i should go for sl550 instead of maserati?

an sl550 is to al SL 55 what a 328 is to a 335i (okay, i admit it's more like 335i to an M, but you get my point). SL 550 is awesome, supposed to be one of greatest cars ever. will probably look dated well before the maser will, and it aint an AMG.

I hate to be this way but an SL is a chick car, albeit an expensive one.. Great touring car but not really a performance car. Surprised Maser isnt more performance oriented.
