Have you guys noticed that the car is balanced at 50/50 weight distribution? Perhaps an inside job?

Not really. Seriously think of the amount of time they wasted doing that. And, the horn probably went off too.

Did I mention that color is HORRENDOUS?!

Aren't most BMW's 50/50 in weight distribution? Or at the very least very close? But I still wouldn't put it past being an inside job, then again stealing rims doesn't require much knowledge.

Haha yeah I have had real bad luck this year totaling 2 BMWs...this time the stupid beetch pulled out of a gas station on the other side of a 2 way road and into my driver's side door. I was casually trotting to work when boom....oy.

Guys, who ever said that the car had an alarm? Just because the clown nose is blinking red doesn't mean that the car has an alarm. The clown nose will blink if the doors are locked, but that doesn't mean that a hood switch, motion sensor, or siren is installed.

I don't know about the duct tape, though. Even if they used it to stop the lights from flashing, if the car had an alarm the wailing siren would be another issue.

It doesn't blink in my 335i when those conditions are met.

Honestly, I have never paid enough attention, but I don't think in both 335i's I owned, the nose never blinked. Maybe it can be programmed to blink?

But all the M6's have alarms, or at least it is not an additional available option on BMWUSA.com's accessory page for the M6.

everything other than 3 X3 and Z4, have standard alarm and yes it has a tilt sensor. However if the car was jacked on both sides at the same time then the alarm would not sound.
Also has to go past I think 20 degree angle.
Not to sure why you would think the car would be sold at a further discount. I am sure there is little if any damage and the wheels and tires will be replaced with out anything showing on the title or ever carfax, as it will be paid out of pocket by the dealer.
The duct tape is for the flashing lights, if the alarm was tripped then a passing cop is not going to hear the alarm but he would see the lights

Just my 2 cents

So the dealer wants to make an extra $ by making wheel locks an option for this car?
