Washing wheels

OK, so most people who've washed their cars and their wheels notice that the rotors rust immediately. So I drove it to remove the rust, but of course, the wet rust sprayed onto the interior of the rim. How can this be prevented if at all?

Try Iron-X to remove it, or just wait for the car to dry a bit more before driving.

The rotor faces will always rust. Maybe you should get a carbon-ceramic rotor on your next car so you never have to deal with that problem ever again?

Use an electric Leaf blower to blow the rims dry before you drive.

Good idea. I tried using my shop vac blower but not enough power. I have a Stihl leave blower but since I use it as a vac also the chamber is dirty.

I actually looked into metro vacs and blasters also but they’re too expensive and low power.

this does not work. the rust flies all over the wheel barrel.

using a leaf blower just accelerates the drying and resulting rust.

Then take off wheels and polish your rotors every time or don't wash it or let it get wet like a gremlin

Time to upgrade to BBK. I used to have to same problem with the stock rotors.
