Thanks Metak for quoting these posts. Some actually are just as much off topic as the deleted comments. BTW: Please start a new thread in the Off Topic section if you want to discuss Jay vs. Conan.

Further questions/concerns/comments via PM only.

Best regards,

Jay Leno Drives the 2011 M3

http://www.jaylenosgarage.com/video/...mw-m3/1232499/

Enjoy. Excelent review of the M3. He only saw a bad thing about the car, that it doesn't bring the old trunk based tool kit, and I have to agree with him.

I don't think he owns it. I believe he just took it for a drive for the day. I can't see why he doesn't buy one though considering he enjoyed it and owns something like 150 cars...

You're a few years late buddy . And in case you didn't see it, was just an infomercial. If he owned one, he'd have known it has 414 HP, not 444. That review made me lose all respect for Leno; it wasn't geniune at all. Apparently he does anything for money nowadays (should have spent 5 minutes more reading about the car ). Calling the M3's trunk 'massive' is ridiculous, even to this owner. A royal waste of time, even to fans.

For a guy who probably has 1 of every brand car on the planet, I'm really impressed by how much Jay knows about BMW's and their history.

Oh, and it was a 2010, not an MY11.

He probably didn't know it an hour before the infomercial . But my guess is he was just reading or getting a feed. That's why he misunderstood or misread (guy is dyslexic) the HP figure and said 444 instead of 414. No car guy messes that part up... if he knows the car . He's just using his fame, now that he's not funny anymore .

How about Bill Oberlin saying that the M button makes the production M3 make more power? That's just as bad as Leno's 444 hp F U. Good thing our cars have such a nice turn signal lever as well. That was funny. Although a bit corny, he is right, the small details can make or break a car.

hmmm, why does he say it's a 2011? And he has the New iDrive, the old wheels, and the pre-LCI tailights...

I thought it was a great review I cannot understand why so many of you hate someone that much, someone you never meet before.

So he said it was 440 HP, so what? You do know he owns so many European cars as well don't you? You also know that 414 HP equals to 420 PS in Europe (slightly different formula you see). PS (in German) = Pferde Sterke (Horse Craft) BTW so perhaps he meant to say 420 and got mixed up who knows.

Still to run the man down like so many here did I just cannot understand. Especially when he had so many nice things to say about our cars.

Moderator, thanks for moving my post here ... I had a feeling it was posted before, then quite a few people have not seen it that is why I wanted to share it. Thanks for taken me here to this tread I had fun reading some of the comments in this thread, shall we say it made my day.

Oh ... and who cares if it was a 2009, 2010 or 2011, his comments were about a ///M ,,,, our ///M and from what I got out of it he liked it.

Wow, there are some dudes with serious emotional problems on this board. I knew there was a segment of M3 owners that are ass-hats, but wow.

ROFL, attacking a man so viciously and personally when the totality of his review was overwhelming positive is a riot. Jay's made more money than multiple generations of your family combined, banged more broads than you've whacked off to... and owns a collection of cars you would whore your mom out for. He must be doing something right.
