Woms, rather than posting the same thing twice, perhaps you could just help me out by linking to an official source?
And with regards the temptation or otherwise of the RS4, since you are intent on arguing with my subjective view, are we to assume your opinion (to which you are most welcome, by the way) to be that the the Audi actually becomes LESS tempting as the BMW becomes more expensive? |

From where would a link have to emanate, in order that you might assume it to be 'official? My pasted text was from an official source, simply not a source with a link.
Being pedantic regarding my opinion on the RS4 and it's apparent lure due to BMW's relative price rise is hardly likely to entice my help. The RS4 looks no more attractive to me than it did before I knew the E92 M3's official price. I am certainly not intent on arguing with you, I merely wish to help those misguided in the right direction. LOL Last edited by Woms; 04-25-2007 at 11:09 AM.. |

Well, maybe when BMWNA has 60% of the E92 M3's sitting on the lots depriciating for months on end, like the M5 and M6 at my local dealer, they will realize that they've missed their price point by more than 10 grand.

i guess it depends on location...i dont think the dealers around my area have any problem pushing out M5 and 6s...i would not expect a price drop.

Used, very low mileage, one year old M6's are readily available for $10-15k off MSRP without breaking a sweat. Anyone can find one. I'm sure one with good negotiating skills can do better. |

It looks about 40K better than the M3, if you ask me.

Even so, $70K for the M3 and $85K for a comparably equipped M5 - difficult decision. Only 15k more and you get the M5? Could be the way to go! If there is a $20K+ difference, I'll stay with the M3, otherwise..........bigger may be better.
