I have been to that dealer and seen that exact car in person. The pictures don't do it justice it is a real nice color. They just fucked up ordering it without black interior or a 3rd pedal.

Must be an eye of the beholder issue. The IND photos were high quality professional looking shoots. I expected that they'd be fairly accurate. I've not seen the color myself personally; so, I guess I don't know what is correct.

I took my M3 to Paul Miller (same dealership this car is at) in for the break-in service yesterday and saw it in the service line, waiting to be cleaned because this kid probably in his mid 20's was looking to buy it. He was literally standing there with his friend staring at it for an hour. I asked him if he was buying it he said that he did the paperwork he was just debating if he should take it home or not....

Wonder if he took it.... BTW I asked him if he was on the forum he said no.

Not just a third pedal is needed. Should have a Finnegan pin crank as well.

IND's pictures are punched up, totally over saturated and look nothing like reality.. When was the last time you saw trees or grass that had that kind of pop in real life. I have never seen rumble strips at the racetrack that had red stripes with that kind of vibrance. Those photos are so over postprocessed that they they don't remotely represent what was in the viewfinder the moment it clicked..

The digital age is great, but most amateur pictures are processed for wow, and not to be true to their subjects. These are VERY representative of that.

Yeah, by a guy claiming it was some kind of 'special edition' car, when all you have to do is pay $9,100 extra and get any non-standard interior/exterior color you want, including the worst possible combination represented in that car .

The worst part is dealer surely collected that extra amount in advance as a non-refundable deposit, especially with such an attrocious combination. Then the guy justified the $82K MSRP saying only 'special' people could order that color combination, and got upset when few of us pointed out anybody could have ordered it. I wouldn't buy that car even at a $9,100 discount, let alone a surplus. But yes, some folks think they're special if they have the only color combination in the country, even when it's that ugly . So they might get more than the regular MSRP of $73K after all.

That BUTT UGLY color combo rivals this:

Are these people blind? How did they select these colors? Did they throw a dart at a color pin wheel?

I've seen many other pics of the same car...inside...in the loading truck...and outside. They weren't all that way. While the metallics change color with light, and they may well be the same, MyKmYk's sure seemed a tad bit deeper. Maybe a variable to painting an individual color?...I dunno.
