just picked her up this morning. cant wait to get past the break in period! mods are sitting in the garage already. its gunna be a fun weekend

the mineral white is an awesome color. it's not a pearl effect by any means. it is more of a silver metallic hue more than anything else.

BIG thanks to Ryan @ Steve Thomas BMW. I swear I have never gone through a car buying experience that smooth before. We were all said and done with the lease paperwork, dmv paperwork, lease return, etc all within 10 minutes!!!

I could be wrong but I would be taking it easy in that kind of heat. Seems like its pretty early in the life of that car to be running up to those kind of oil temps?

well still breaking it in so definitely taking it easy. not sure how the weather temps affect oil temps but I'm guessing it's negligible if oil temps get up to ~200 anyways

I believe the redline for a car being broken in is still the same. at least on mine it is. it just does the normal warmup procedure and slowly makes it's way to 8400 (not that I dare get anywhere close to 5500) haha

By wound back do you mean like limited until you hit the 1200 mile mark? Its not limited to 5500, you can red line it right out of the lot if you want.
