Cold Start Idle Bounce

2013 M3 E92, 19K miles. Upon cold start, immediately and consistently with each cold start, the idle bounces down once, maybe twice. Almost dies/stalls .... but recovers and smooths out.

I know they are a bit beastly upon cold start - but my old 2009 E93 idled perfectly even upon cold start (with the cold start sequence)

It's under warranty. Worth having dealer look at it ? (or normal)

Or any ideas ?

Mine does the same - revs up quickly but within the first few seconds bounces down to about 800 before revving up again - cats get warm, then down to 800. I only noticed it a month or so ago OR it's started happening a month or so ago. Either way, it doesn't stall and afterwards everything's good.

If it's not normal I'd like to know what it is, but since it's not affected the car afterwards I've not really been concerned.

You may need to shoot a video. Doesn't sound terribly unusual.
