Mine's fine... No leaks or strange noises from the top up/down process.
2013, 36K miles, 2nd owner. It needs to be washed and the leather cleaned though. :-) |

One top issue - sensor in the rear went out No leaks, no noises, all good Oil analysis is good Enjoy it every time I get in it... When the top sensor went out, it sucked! It was out of the trunk and about to separate when I got a "Top Malfunction" indication and it would not go up or down. BTW - there is no manual way to get this top to move. I read-up on it and found there is a brass bleeder screw on the hydraulic pump that you can back off to let the pressure off. I did that and put it all the way up, although it would not lock. It rattled all over the place until I got to the dealer to have it analyzed and fixed. Was not a good experience! However, that's the only problem I've ever had with the car...

No leaks or noises or problems Oil analysis just came in last month and it's great with the SC kit. Never seen the CEL in it and have had it over a year now.

Smooth operation of top, no issues other than getting momentarily "stuck" in up position. Greased up the joint/clamps at the top of the front windshield, and hasn't been a problem since. Cables are still good with no fraying. Only other "issue" was related to battery. After hitting a small road bump, car threw all sorts of malfunctions related to seat belt sensor, airbag, etc. had to wiggle the battery safety terminal and clear the codes. No problems since then. Performance-wise car is a champ. Sounds great driving with the top down through a tunnel, with the eisenmann race, test pipes and evolve stage II and DCT tune. Not looking forward to winter |

2009 E93 DCT
59k miles now Owned since 52K miles Hardtop function started to become intermittent and jerky. Replaced salmon relay in trunk myself and good to go now. Top seals tight and no leaks. Just replaced fuel pressure sensor due to increased emissions code and seem to have fixed the issue. Diagnosed with Carly and replaced myself so cost wasn't too bad. Otherwise it has not had any other issues. Added 15mm spacers front and 12mm rear and upsized tires to PSS 255/275 and have a tiny bit of rubbing but not enough to do anything about. Has Meisterschaft exhaust and sounds amazing with the top down! |

Bought at 30 k miles and now at 46 K miles 5000-6000 miles OCI Will be sending for Oil analysis after 50 k miles. Top started leaking while under warranty. Fixed by dealership. Also sometimes the Lowering function stops in the middle when using the Comfort access key. Other than that the top has been flawless. I maintain it regularly. There is a detailed thread on how to maintain the top just search E93 convertible top maintenance. Car has been running great. Me and my son loves it driving with top down. No issues...touch wood. |

6mt 28,000 miles My top works great. I was getting 'stuck' when opening it. I lubed up where it meets the windshield and has worked great. The only leaking i get is when I go through a touch-less car wash and the high pressure water hits it. Anyone else have this issue? No issues at all. :::knock on wood:::

Applying Gummi Pfledge on all rubber every 6 months. No other issues to report. Just a great vert for fun/value.
