OEM exhaust mod question
Searched and read many threads on this topic, but one question still remains unanswered. Which one of the two methods (perforated pipe repl or ACM bypass) will provide a more exotic car like sound?
Looking for a "crisp" sound, for a lack of better word, and not American v8 muscle sound. Thanks

I asked the same question in the following thread. See post # 55 for response.

This is the correct choice. Anything less isn't worth the trouble in my opinion.

Got the ACM mod this past weekend. Zury Fabrications in Baltimore, MD did it for me. Great guy and great service!
I couldn't be happier w the way car sounds now. It's pretty much exactly what I wanted. It sort of comes alive above 3k rpm, below that is hard to tell anything is done, except for cold starts which are amazing. For those wondering is it too loud? By no means. It's just perfect for every day driving. Minimal drone around 2.5k rpm mark. For those familiar sound is similar to an e46 w Rouge El Diablo muffler, just of course w/o resp and deeper. |
