E92 LCI Tail Lights

I'm keen on the tail lights myself but like the rest of you would like to see one installed in Australia.

Went to the F10 launch last week and the new white headlamps are very cool! If only I could upgrade to those as well.

Gents my dealer has given me the following price... no surprise really:

Rear Lamps @ $713.50 (you will need one for left and one for right)
2 Retrofit cables - $99
FWM3 - $1034.40

Labor - $534.60

bmminiparts.co.uk will charge approx ~AUD$1080 with FWM excluding delivery... so excluding labour, it is about a third of the price, with labor, about half!

Definitely agree with you.... did you end up seeing the rear tail lights in contrast with the old tail lights? Also... do you have rear fog lights working?

Don't forget about the inner taillamps also. We can get you what is needed, let me know if you need any help along the way.

This is getting interesting. Alekshop and Tom@EAS, any discounts for a group buy? So far we have 2 committed buyers (myself and zenderm3), any more Oz guys?

FWIW I called my dealer today for a price, waiting on it now.

Also - what's the Footwell module?

It's to do with the lighting system, window operation,mirror functions etc. It'll probably need coding and an independent like me would have the necessary equipment to do it.

The Footwell module (FRM) is what is controlling headlight/taillights - this is the main module (along with 3 others) that are coded for proper operation.

Those white LED headlamps on E92 LCI and F10 are awesome. About to order M3, very disappointed they are not an option. hoping that by the time it arrives, one of these aftermarket will have a solution.

No mate they won't - You'd need a new hood and bumper - considering it doesn't look like any further change to the M3 until after 2012... we probably won't see any more LCI on the M3 - but I'm not the most informed... I'm sure someone knows!

No, the bottom curvature of the headlamp is different than pre LCI models and would not fit the bumper cover.
