I have seen worse on the road and here on the forum actually NUMEROUS. I think its worse to put an M emblem on a BMW that is not an M than on a van or any other car. Reason is everyone thinks your driving and M3/M5 when all you did was change the emblem or even just add an emblem to the name. Most people then think you have a legit M car when your actually just poseur. When people see an M eblem on a van most of them know M is BMW not chysler/nissan/honda or any other brand so they know its fake. When you see an M emblem on a BMW most people REALLY believe its an M when in fact it is a fake. That makes the BMW driver worse than the person that drives the Van with M emblem. So putting an M emblem on a non M BMW is WORSE that putting an M emblem on a van or honda. If I had a 335i and I did the M conversion body I would NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER put and M emblem anywhere on the car. I would have the side gills badgeless/filled in and remove the M emblem on the trunk. If you have an M package car such as the X3 with sport (which my wifes drives) it is ok to leave the emblems like they are on the car but if you put an M emblem on the OUTSIDE rear of the car next to the X3 emblem or add an M emblem ANYWHERE on the car your worse than the person who put it on a minivan because most people then believe you actually have an X3 M.
