I'm at a point where I think it's my shampoo that I'm using. I'm using Gold Class, it's great and all on a car that's already been taken care of...but I think it may not be strong enough for a grimy car.
I know dish detergent removes wax and such, but I'm ready to use that now to see if helps. I can't see how it'll hurt, I don't mind stripping whatever wax is already on it to clean the grime/sand first before I do a proper clay and then wax/sealant.
PM me some pictures?

I know this isn't a BMW, but my jeep came out flawless after wash, clay bar, NuFinish wax.

Nik ,look...

1- Wash
2- Clay bar
3- Polish
4- Wax or sealant

Because your car is a DD ..Clay bar is needed it pulls contaminations out of the pores of the paint => Result is that the paint feels "super smooth" after clay bar !

When I clay bar my car I use this Meguiars lubricant it's just top and it's probably one of the best lubricants on the market !
I saw that Manda ( In Amanda's thread ) use this Meguiars lubricant too ...and I use it between washes and the shine is really amazing !
Link to my thread where I use it just as protection between a wash and without clay bar => http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=838860
Good luck Nik and the video below is your motivation to do it... !
