I think they're letting you test on Live if you want so you can try it before you buy it.

I didn't like it much. Maybe I'm too used to playing them on the computer and the easy controls. Crossing my fingers they make a PC version.

The demo is ok. Not crappy, but not a great game either. Personally, I wouldn't spend $60 (or even $10) on Halo Wars.
I'd much rather play COD5 on the 360 or something like Dawn of War on the PC if i want RTS.

any RTS should be played with a mouse and keyboard imo. any other way is just awkward and clumsy
