Saw a new Audi A4 on the road!

Yeah, couldn't believe it. First I see an X6 only a few days ago, and that doesn't come out for another three months, and now this. I gotta tell ya, the front looks great, but the LEDs looked almost yellow, blech. They didn't look as good as the ones on the other models like the S5 and R8 that I've seen.

It was a BIG car. Much bigger than I expected. I thought it was an S5 for a really long time, because he was behind me and I didn't see any weird kink in the LED strip. Eventually the road split into two lanes and I slowed and pulled over to the right lane. He eventually goes by and I end up seeing another set of doors and was like WTF?

The back looked very similar, albeit slightly less attractive than the S5 imo. There was something weird about that integrated spoiler...it looked curvier than it should be. Regardless, I thought it looked great as a whole.

Audi never ceases to amaze me.

wait, I'm confused, you said it looked great, yet you said that Audi ceases to amaze you? Did you mean Audi never ceases to amaze you?

Personally, I like the new A4, looks very nice.

^ cool, then we agree that the new Audi looks pretty sweet. The new C looks nice too, exterior-wise, definitely a big step above the last-gen C it replaces.

the arms race between the auto companies is really good for us consumers.

Yeah, it's great to see the competition stepping it up in all the markets really. Porsche is finally recieving some heavy competition from the like of Audi and Nissan with their R8 and GTR. We only benefit. Gotta love it.

Man, it's amazing how much I agree with you! I havent seen the A4 yet but I agree on the shape of the integrated spoiler, I noticed that from day 1. It's a little too curvy and sharp.

What colour was the A4? Thanks for the write-up bro!

+1 on the C-class. Interior looks better than the 3 series IMO. Exterior also looks great in sport trim! The best colour seems to be silvers/greys. I dont like seeing a big bling grille against a darker bodywork but it looks hot on lighter colours!

I love how much the Audi/Merc/BMW have stepped up in this class. It makes it SO hard to choose between the cars, but for some reason I always lean towards Audi. Cant wait to see the A4 on the road to make a proper judgement.

They're not out yet, but I still saw one on the road in a big convoy of AW BMWs. They don't come out for another 3 months. It looks hot in real life, believe it or not.

Audi is no competition to Porsche, since Porsche owns Audi. Its just us consumers that like to compare cars like that. However, with that beastly GTR, its gonna take alot more from both Audi and Porsche to compete with it, though I think the V12 diesel R8 could be up for it

How does the chain go exactly with VW, Porsche, Audi, and Lamborghini again. VW owns Audi and Porsche, and Audi owns Lambo? So confused.

Wow, funny story! I ran into the same guy again! What are the chances? This time around I made sure to ask him a few questions and get some pics.

I followed him into our local beach park, waited for him to park and got his attention. He probably thought I was crazy, I don't blame him.

He turned out to be some European guy, cuz he had a really really heavy accent. He looked to be around his mid 40's or so. Anyways, seeing this thing parked next to my car put into perspective just how massive it really is. It was a dark silver on beige combo with wood trim. Very nice looking. The car looks great, with wonderful little details that make it interesting to scrutinize.

So, here's the pics. My favorite one is easily the first. It shows just how aggressive the car can look under certain lighting.

Oh and make note of the LED DRL's. There's no retarded kink in them! I think that's how I mistook it for an S5 a while back.
