Tire pressures for PS2 at the track

Wondering if anyone has run their stick PS2 tires at the track. I am doing a local small track tomorrow in my new car and wondered what kind of experiences some of you have had with the tires at different pressures. Anything would be helpful.

i start them around 33-35 and try to keep them under 42 hot. above ~45 they get greasy

but don't go too hard, my fronts started to "chunk" on me had to replace front driver side under warranty. I use PS2 for street or wet only and run track set of r-compounds now. Have fun, be safe.

What they said. Cold setting Depends on temp for your day but hot 40-42 and you will probably have hard time not rolling over onto the sidewall but adding pressure will make them greasy as stated.

check pressures immediately upon returning to the pits. 38-40 hot is better for grip and it keeps you away from the high pressures that make the car harder to control.

Prime I suggested a little higher because on street tires it was a real struggle not to roll the tire over and wear the sidewall. I went up to 42 with out them getting greasy byt saved some sidewall. Still wore past tread wear arrows.

Nitrogen. I was thinking if I had to do it all over again starting with the PS2 that Nitrogen would have/should have saved some tire. That way you could start with higher pressures and not have an enormous delta between cold and hot pressures. (one of the downsides of the PS2 or PSS)
BTW I will start using Nitrogen on the Yokohama race slicks soon for the same reasons.

Go with the higher pressures, mine rolled alot and "chucked" as a result. See photos in previous post below:
