I have no cats or resonators and surprisingly it doesnt drone as much as you would think but I guess u could say it's a little raspy at low RPMs

I have Eclipsis's old xpipe which is a Riss Racng xpipe with 200cpi HJS cats with the OEM rear exhaust and it sounds great. However, it is raspy as hell as there is no resonators. I am considering welding in some resonators, anyone have a recommendation?

I have the Gintani race rear section and i find the drone below 2500rpm to be quite irritating, especially when trying to cruise about in auto while it selects 6th / 7th gear.

I am seeing an exhaust shop next week to look at getting a custom x-pipe setup to connect to the rear section with butterfly valves installed to control the sound levels between low and high from the cabin. If this doesn't look feasable i plan to modify it with resonators purely to remove some of the drone at the lower frequencies at lower RPM.

Has anyone else had any experience doing this?

Nobody able to shed any light on this? Wondering whether i should look at getting a valve installed into the Gintani setup or getting custom x-pipes with some form of resonators installed.

We've had the Sosi X-Pipe (no resonators) mated to the Agency Power, and it sounded absolutely perfect. No drone, no rasp. All in all, it really depends on your mufflers: if your mufflers are already loud and raspy, then adding an x-pipe will only serve to intensify that sound. If the mufflers are more tame, though, then an x-pipe without resonators is probably your best bet to get that aggressive sound that the M3 is known for

Ever heard the sosi paired with the Dinan rear section?

As far as I know, none of our customers have tried it out yet with the Dinan mufflers. However, if I recall correctly, the Dinan pipes are relatively quiet and tame, meaning that adding the Sosi X-Pipe would serve to make the sound deeper and more aggressive (without introducing any drone or being obnoxiously loud to your neighbors )
