I think for the actual production units, they changed that because mine extend into the tips but are not physically connected.

Yes I'll post pics when I have a chance.
Nice, good to know they adjusted the exhaust on the actual production models. Thanks.

Ok sorry it took so long, but I finally had a chance to take a photo (not like my others) of the exhaust from the bottom. The exhaust guides into the tip area.

Amazing love it. I was thinking of getting one. What made you get this instead of like an M3, RS4, or possibly the C63... That's where im lost. I love BMW's but thinking of changing.... Details please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought the IS-F because I was impressed with the ultra fast shifting. It was a combination of the torque you feel and the crisp shifts that convinced me that this was the car. I'm not saying that any of the other cars would have been poor decisions, but for me I really was impressed.

Today I was driving in NJ and saw a new silver M5 with tinted windows. We chatted a bit at the light but that car is just AMAZING!! Makes me want to get that instead. It sounded sick too. I should have considered that car to (pre-owned).

Ngl1145,are you still in NJ? If so, are you still interested in taking some pics of my IB M3? I know some other M3 owners in the area that would love to have professional pics of their cars taken. Let me know.

since the tips are connected the bumper you cannot have it connected to the exhaust due to heat and vibrations. the LP640 is the same way.

Let me ask you this, do you honestly think it's cool to bash others about their cars just because you think yours is better.

Even if you hate the car that much, where's your bloody manners? not gonna say congrats on the new ride?

People like you piss me off. The IS-F might not be the best looking car in the world, but it isnt all bad. I actually like a few things about the IS platform and the IS-F even though I wouldnt take it over an M3 sedan or RS4 or C63.

That's pretty crazy... M3 is 15k over sticker in my area made me want to look at a few other options. Im not ready to spend +75K on an M3 yet, i would feel too stupid. Again, love the car and enjoy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
