M3 ESS VT-625 manual vs M3 manual
Found a movie from this summer, my car with ESS VT-625 vs M3.
Fun to see how much faster a SC is.

Nuts! The top end power of the VT2-625 is out of this world.
What's even crazier is that a stock E92 M3 is NOT slow by any means. For me, it's already quite the quick car on the street, I can't imagine throwing in another 200+hp.

Good video but however I would've thought the VT2 would've pulled harder then that in the first gear. My reason for saying this is because I did the same race with my manual VT1 with stock cats vs a completly stock manual M3 and the result looked about the same, I would even say that when we WOT in 2nd gear the difference seemed greater then in this video!
I'm wondering if the N/A M3 really was a manual or if it had some mods on it or maybe the VT2 had some traction issues Anyhow, it's always fun to see videos of ESS cars going agaisnt others! Last edited by Alex07M3; 01-12-2013 at 05:55 PM.. |

yes, I've seen that video! It's true that there's not a lot of difference between the VT1 and VT2 under 70mph but when I did my pull against the stock M3, I was taking a good car on him before shifting to 3rd.
