blackberry office integration

has anyone been able to get their email and text messages to show up on their idrive screen? i switched to a blackberry tour, and the only thing that i have access to is my phonebook, does anyone know how to fix this?

i don't believe that is a option available on e9x M3s.

They started that feature for F10 5 series i believe after Aug 2010. Probably other models will fall in line w/ that feature as time goes on.

hmm after a little bit of heavy searching i found on the bmw website.. that only one blackberry at the moment is supported - the pearl.. as odd as it is..

in the future, all of the OS6 blackberries should work..

Also the Blackberry Torch with OS 6 works.. Turns out only OS6 works and only if the phone is a GSM phone like those from ATT.
Verizon has nothing that is compatible. Guess it's one of those things for the "future"

Works great on my torch. Have a 9700 laying around still running is 5.x somewhere will are if I can get it to work.

BlackBerry Office (email, texts, messages, etc.) is a iDrive feature for cars built after 9/10.

So, only MY2011.5 like some say.

Based on what I've read, it doesn't matter what model the crackberry is, it has to have OS 6 in order to work........Phil

Why does apple advertise apple units in their brochures but then only make office feature available with crackberry ?

Doesn't work with BB curve 8900 but I was told in the first half of next year it will be supported. Considering the dealer has been wrong about everything else I'm not too hopeful.

Will give you a nice matrix of phones/supported features. I not even sure a single phone listed has everything working 100%.. thought i didn't go through all the phones for every carrier.

Edit: nevermind, indeed OS 6 is greater it seems for any office features.

I can confirm the blackberry needs to have OS 6.0+. I am using a Bold 9700 running a leaked version of OS 6.0, however not sure why my calendar is not populating on the iDrive.
