Exhaust Mods
Okay, Im Currently looking for a mod, that will increase my HP, but not kill me with the noise on a DD car.
I have the M performance Exhaust on the car now, i was looking to do either a Res delete or a Challenge X-pipe (Street). Would i have any gains with a res delete? I wanted a tab more sound, but not much. recommendation???? ANYBODY???? |

Most of the hp gain is from removing the primary cats, pick up a set of test pipes and you will be in good shape.

Resonators won't help, and secondary cat delete will not do much either since they are essentially HFC already (200 cell). It would be best to put test pipes on (remove primary cats which are 400 cell). There will be an increase in sound, on a stock exhaust, it is not terribly loud, no sure about on a MPE.
Also, do a search, a lot has been said about modifying exhausts to get power... |

You probably won't notice much difference in HP with or without the resonator. It would be a good idea to add resonators if you are looking for a quieter setup.
