My M3 has gone crazy!
I was leaving a friend's house tonight, and the instrument panel lighted up like 4th of July when I tried to start the car. Engine was running very rough, all kinds of error lights showed up..and my wipers just wouldn't stop wiping unless I power down the car. I turned off the engine and tried to restart..but then the motor just wouldn't start..
My idrive/AC/stereo basically the whole center console is not working/lit either, light in the trunk is also out.... Anyone else experienced this issue? |

This happened to my 335i when water leaked through my sunroof and made it's way to the computer system in the trunk. Apparently there was a recall on the sunroof, but they never informed me about it. After they fixed it, my (3 month old) car rattled like a 10 year old hyundai. Took months and countless visits to the dealership for them to find all the rattles in the car. There's still a few, but I got sick of taking the car in. If they replace your iDrive/computer system, make sure they put your car back together properly. Major service always scares the crap out of me.
