Dinan catback plus midpipe exhaust.

Visited Dinan HQ in Morgan Hill yesterday and one of the salesman was nice enough to take me for a ride in his personal car. It had the full exhaust on it and the software and OMG the sound was rediculous but with absolutely no drone. The only thing I didn't like about the exhaust is the single wall black tips and the fact that it was a complete removal of the cats instead of just high flow cats. I just don't care for single wall tips. It just looks unfinished IMO. The smell from completely removing the cats is also a concern. Is there anything on the market that comes even close to this?

Dinan xpipe only has res no cats. Dinan rear section is amazing. No drone. No loud bass at low rpm. When stepped on it just sings. I had mine paired with aa hfc xpipe and it was loud only at wot

Kit suggested this combo to me a long time ago, and I finally got my test pipes installed a few months ago to go with my Dinan rear section. Simply amazing. Should've followed through with the exhaust expert's recommendations 2 years ago!

I think the DINAN is probably the quietest least droney exhaust after reading countless reviews from people. If only exhaust gas came out of all the tips... WTF

Akrapovic Evolution. High flow cats so not quite as smelly, tips are gorgeous.

Akra is the obvious first choice but everyone complains about the low RPM drone. I've never heard one so I'm not sure how it compares to the OEM exhaust which has a similar trait.

No way.. not unless you're really sensitive. You'll hear some bass when starting off in first for a split second, or if you're slowly backing into a parking spot, etc.

I don't know how it could be described as an exhaust that drones. You don't hear it at all as you're driving. Very quiet (unless on the throttle) anywhere above ~1.5-2k rpms. Just starting out, and at very low rpms only. Even then I wouldn't describe it as drone -- definitely bassy.

Yep, the oem exhaust low rpm bass, just amplified.

I had the Megan before the Evo. That droned at certain rpms while driving, the Akra does not.

+1 Akrapovic Evolution is one of the quietest full exhausts you can get. If you didn't know any better you would think it was an OEM exhaust!

This is 100 percent accurate. It's not drone...it's just brassy down low when starting to drive. I don't even have the evo, I have challenge sport and akra rear and I'm extremelyyyyy sensitive to drone and I would say this setup has pretty close to no drone...or minimal at best.

I have this combo and it sounds epic - absolutely love it. I'll try and make a clip this weekend.

I'm getting test pipes put on this weekend and going with the stock exhaust for now, so I'm eager to hear how the Dinan sounds too.
