New Bastuck exhaust...anyone??
Well the time has come for me to ditch my Agency Power exhaust . I got pulled over again today for modified exhaust, but was lucky enough to get out of a ticket.
I want something that looks and sounds closer to stock. Have any of you guys tried the new Bastuck? Any feedback on quality, fitment, sound, etc? Cheers

I had a bastuck when I had my 335. Quality was top notch and sound was slightly louder than stock at idle. WHen you got on it, yopu could tell it wasnt stock, It isnt that loud and from the videos iver heard of it on the m3 it didnt sound crazy at all. Hit up Aus, i think he is local to you and is selling a bastuck
Why dont you try and add some resonators behind your hfc to help tone it down? |

I've already got resonators unfortunately . I think I really need a different muffler set-up to tone down the sound, as well as get rid of the Titanium tips.

Thanks Niqui, I'll be sure to do that. It sounds like this system may fit the bill...at least sound-wise.

My v1 version's fit and finish is as good and solid as OEM. It'll go well with HFC or even catless since you mainly hear it below 2500 RPM. Above 3000 RPM is just a little louder than stock.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

as niqui mentioned, i have one... its louder than stock. at 6k rpm, from bout 20ft away, i measured it with my sound meter and its only 1 to 2 db louder than stock. my magnaflow universal mufflers that i had on was about 5 db louder than stock. i switched cos i thought the magnaflow was a little too loud. but now i think the bastuck is a little too soft. the one good thing bout the bastuck is that it doesnt drone at all. and it has a nice deep tone compared to stock. just wished it was a little louder!!
how does yours sound ? more like eisemann race/remus race??

I'd say it's between the ER and Gintani soundwise. It doesn't drone at all which is nice, but it is loud from behind the car, even under light acceleration. I'll really miss the sound, but I just need to fly under the radar for a while .

i see that you have the encore HFCs... i think that prob makes your set up pretty loud... it wouldnt be that loud if you only had the agency power exhaust. you could probably consider selling the midsection and keeping the AP exhaust.
