Is it me or is the car photoshopped into the showroom?

This is probably the only time in my life I'll be able to get away with a reckless spending decision and a V8 coupe before I have family and life responsibilities. Also, correct me if I am wrong, the E92 will hold more residual value than the 135i will, thus it is possible that it will be a better "investment."

I have been getting butterflies just thinking about owning the M!
Not sure which would retain its value better. Over the long haul, the e9X M3 will be worth something because of the S65, but you may be talking decade down the road. Indeed the M3 is a thrilling car to drive and you'll get tons of fun out of it. If you can afford it without cramping your lifestyle, go for it!

It is definitely photoshopped.

Pulled the vehicle history report. 2 items of interest:

Accident or Vehicle Damage
Reported accidents or damage events are a result of vehicle collisions or other non-collision incidents such as vandalism or theft. Not all accidents or damage events are reported to AutoCheck. Certain accident or damage events are reported by the source to have resulted in minor, moderate or severe damage to the vehicle, or the events are calculated by AutoCheck to have resulted in minor, moderate or severe damage based on the information reported. It is recommended to have pre-owned vehicles inspected by a third party prior to purchase.

Fleet, Rental and/or Lease Use
The vehicle has been reported as used as a fleet, rental and/or lease vehicle.

Thoughts/feelings?

Hi! I just joined the forums to post my car for sale.

It's a 2008 M3 Coupe, 27,000 miles, 6-Speed Manual. Alpine White, Speed Cloth Interior, 18" Gunmetal Wheels, Navigation, Comfort Access, Upgraded Sound. Clean CarFax and it's been a great car. Out of warranty, but I'm sure aftermarket is available.

Feel free to PM me.

It can def be done in your range. Just have to be tenacious at looking. I picked up my bone stock. Original owner. Clean car fax. 46k miles. Fully loaded e92 aw with fox red and cf roof for 36k. He was asking 39 firm. Then I paid 1k to ship it to Idaho from Texas.

You passed on some good deals from the members classifieds which can provide a full history but you direct your attention To a dealer for a higher price bracket and a reported accident claim.
What's wrong with you. ? Comments like "you would have to pay me to buy a heavy modded m3" make you sound ignorant, but I'll bet in few months time you will be looking for an exhaust.

Do your research please.

Thanks for all of the advice on financials, but that is not what I asked for. I see plenty of people on a routine basis purchasing cars and just reselling them because they cannot afford the payments. I drew a line in the sand, I know what I want, and I know what I want to pay for it. I just do not feel like dealing with modification issues because you never know whether the modifications were done right. It is also an indication, though not dispositive, that the car received more abuse than normal. I am not so naive to think that a stock M3 is going to have been babied for its entire life, but it certainly stands a better chance.

Regardless, in response to the New York member, I appreciate the offer, but I am down in Philadelphia so it really isn't too much trouble to head up on the Saturday.

Anyways, I digress.
