Samsung Galaxy S4 and Bluetooth

Has anyone had problems with using bluetooth audio with their Galaxy S4? I would normally use it for Google Maps and music, but I can't seem to make it work. I do have the telephone and audio both checked. Any help would be great.

I will check it out in the coming days and report back. I picked up a S4 a couple of weeks ago. I didn't have a problem streaming with the crackberry. The only noted issue right now is downloading emails. I can read text messages but not emails........Phil

I am not having a problem. Phone, music on the phone (double twist) as well as streaming music (pandora). I don't know what you are trying to do with google maps to say if that is working.

I had a little time on my hand so I headed to the garage to stream some Pandora......work flawlessly. Click on external device then select the galaxy........Phil

I've had the S4 for 2 months and I haven't had any problem with streaming music, (I use Spotify). Phone calls, text, and notifications work as they should....Make sure they are paired correctly....

Make sure your Bluetooth Audio is checked also on the media side of your Idrive.

Mine started streaming audio after checking on that option.

no problems streaming calls or music with my htc one, on jellybean 4.2.2.

I got my galaxy S4 to work! (2011 E90 M3) It would connect then I would get the refreshing circle and then it would disconnect. Well I deleted the pairing and started over. I hit cancel to contacts and calls and checked "dont ask me again". The streaming media and calls work great every time! I dont have call details or contacts but it works!

you should have everything working. I initially had a problem with BMW live (it wasn't pulling data using DUN for some reason) but I got it fixed. Now have 0 problems streaming data via web radio/pandora/phone calls/contacts/sms pop up as they come in/call history/bluetooth audio.

I'd try just deleting & repairing, select all options (make sure to do data transfer as well) should work fine. Even custom roms work, I'm running goldeneye. cyanogen worked on my nexus S, so i imagine it would here too.
