The BS looks more aggressive and the interior looks better. It looks more up to date. However, from the side profile it also looks a bit chunky compared to the BMW. But I am sure the GTS handles better then the BS....lol

Well ALMS does have more then that my friend or did you forget the Ferrari 458's, Ford GT, Jaguar XKR, and Lamborghini. But the best looking in my opinion has to be the white M3 GT-Rs with black M logo carbon fiber roofs. The helicopter top view of race shows off that M logo great off the white cars. The Ferrari 458's look pretty good also much nicer then the 430's. Well the best racing series in USA without a doubt followed by Continental GT car series. In both of these M3's are kicking butt.....go BMW M's

I can't go with either for that kind of money. If your paying p-car level money, and the practicality is similar, then it's p-car time, in my opinion of course.

GTS was/is a big underachievement. Merc is coming out with some pretty damn good cars. BMW better watch out.
As long as BMW makes money, they really don't care what anyone else is making. They just want profit.

Levi, The M3 CSL is NOT happening. Stop giving false info, please. BMW went down that road with the GTS.

Who said it is not coming?
The M3 GTS(treet) is nothing else than an M3 GT4 Street. It is just stipped down and has KW Suspenssion and Brembo brakes, with a stroker kit. The car is not really disapointing performance wise, but price wise. It is overpriced. It should have been sold for 85.000-90.000 € and with 6MT gearbox. Then this car would be a winner.

I personally think BMW didnt go "All Out" with the GTS. Im not sure why!! But MB on the other hand, went all out on the BS! Im a true die hard BMW fan but I have to give it up to MB for making an awesome car, both in looks and performance. That C63 Black Series is seriously a monster of a car, Especially the Track Edition!

The C63 has some very impressive stats and all, but honestly to me the BMW looks more cohesive overall (except of course for the rear wing, still want the E46 CSL tail back!).

The M3's wheel wells especially look like they're there because they were designed to be there from the start. The Black on the other hand looks like a normal car with tacked-on bodykit.
I'm not too convinced all the slashes and intakes serve any purpose on the C63, but I may be wrong.
The rearview has to go to the (seemingly strangely a bit under-wheeled) C63.

They seem to be to my mind two completely different types of cars. The BMW looks more like it's treading in Porsche territory while the Merc treads in, well, AMG Black Series territory, just not as loudly as it did with the previous CLK (which was brilliant).

Either way, probably makes little difference as chances are I'll probably never see any of these cars in real life. I'm glad they exist nonetheless.

M3 GTS was built in a low series with the purpose of being the best BMW "gun" for the track.
It wasn t built to impress the crowd on the streets in front of the clubs, it wasn t built to offer you more comfort than you need on a track, it wasn t built for NA market and so on!!!

On the other hand Mercedes tries to impress with this BS using a totally different receipe: presents higher numbers (which can t be totally used) for power and torque, more comfort oriented interior and some little tricks for the exterior design that don t really helps it to improve its performances. It s clear that it s better than the normal C63, but we have to take into account that Mercedes had another goal when they released this car (and all BS models) comparing with what BMW wanted.

So if we put these cars on a circuit I think it s clear which is the better car. And BMW didn t want more than that with this GTS model.

Comparing the GTS with GT3/ GT3 RS is also somehow weird because this car was built on the demand of some M3 customers who wanted a road legal but more track oriented M3. Because it was a very limited series the price for developing this car must somehow be covered with a higher final price than it would have been normal for a normal production vehicle. BMW just created the ultimate track oriented E92 M3

Mercedes BS is much more a show car than a track oriented one. It can be also a DD car. This is my understanding of all of the pro arguments for this car.

I just wanted to explain what really is M3 GTS in the M3 lineup!

Merc is more of a hooligan I'm sure, which is a very good thing when we're talking porky, overpriced 'track' cars.
