PS2 Prices

Need to replace RR PS2 on 19s. Dealer says tire/stem is 450-500. Is that right?

Thanks

Is that a BMW dealer, or a local tire dealer?

That pricing just smells stealershipish......

Thanks. It's my dealer. Same guy who tops the oil for free and sends me home with 2 extra litres free. Realize TireRack is 385, just sounded like a lot. I'll knock the dealer to 450 and let him make a few clams. I'm such a nice guy.

He might be charging for mount and balance as well.

yeah balancing 18+ inch tyres (low profile) is quite costly especially if you get them road force balanced.

Good for you, and not unreasonable if he's been taking good care of you. With shipping and mounting the TireRack tire is probably sneaking up on $450 each anyway......

I think you're almost always safe using TireRack as the "bottom" price point of reference.

You might want to try Costco or Discount Tire as you will probably get a better price here than the Dealership.

If it makes you feel any better, a rear tire in Australia is $900!
