Bad TPMS Sensor?
Quick question for y'all!
Recently, whenever I start my car my TPMS sensor always goes off. The iDrive pings "Rear Left Tire Low". So like any normal person, I get out my air pressure gauge and check it out. The pressure is off by 1 psi. I've checked for a slow leak or puncture, but the tire is in good shape. I reset the sensor and go on with life. Then in another few days (4-5), the sensor trips again! Is this a sign of a bad sensor, and I should probably purchase a new one? Or is there any other advice that you'd have for me? TIA. |

Check all the other tires too, many times the dealership or whoever will swap wheels from left to right or sensors from front to back when installing tires. You never know which one it is unless it is reprogrammed. Just a thought.

That's a good point, but the last time any wheel work was done was when I had new wheels and tires mounted, all with new sensors (approx 6 months ago). I'll check them out just in case
