[GTM] Tinted + V1 installed

Since the gallery forum is on little quiet side, let me post some pix.

Just did 35% tinting all around, and hardwired V1.
Sorry about dirty car tho.
More mods on the way!

Hardwired V1.

I followed this thread for opening the console.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=97545

I tap the power line from the green/white wire.

My M3 has CF roof, and I couldn't find single bolts for ground.
There is ground brown wire which I tap the ground wire to.

It looks like your rear facing sensor on the V1 may be blocked by the roofline control panel. Have you been able to get rear readings off it since the install?

It looks great, I have mine in the same spot but on the right side so the rear sensor can sit just to the right of the panel in question and have open visibility for rear radio and laser signals.

I did not get the remote display. Just the V1 alone.

I check from the rear of the car. I can clearly see the sensors.
Rear window opening is taller than front so it shouldn't be any problem.

You need the concealed display. That is the only thing I wish that I could add to my hardwired Bel STi Driver (mounted identically to the way you have your V1 )

Nice tint job! That's exactly how I'd like to set up mine when I get it.
