Bump for this. Great looking seats.

For those who don't like the price, you should buy one of the other FR E90 interiors currently for sale. I've included the links below:

Check on eBay. There is a guy in Hialeah selling a Coral for $2,000. Apparently is from a coupe.

anything over $2500 is too much. You can find FR from wrecked cars all day long for that price. Ive seen front and back black sets go for under 1k in good condition.

If you'd rather keep those instead then looks like you will keep them forever for the price you are asking for. In a few years if you wanted to post this up again for sale, it will be less due to age. So in the long run, you will not even benefit by keeping those either.

Although I appreciate your advice in both forums now, I will benefit by keeping them if no one wants them at or near the price I listed, as I will always have a set of near perfect seats in case I ever want them again. It is not about waiting for some sort of seat price inflation to kick in.

Not sure why this is so hard to understand...I listed a price that made sense to me based on the cost of the seats new and their difficulty to find. A big part of this was knowing how hard it would be for me to get a nice set again if I ever changed my mind and wanted to go back to stock. But I totally understand if people do not want to pay that price, and, if that's so, I'll keep them. Feel free to buy them from all of the other sellers.

Once I get a proper set of bucket seats in the car, I'm planning on mounting one of the front seats on my wheel/pedal simulator rack, and maybe converting the backseat into a bench for my garage.

Yeah, you probably won't get 5K for them, so I'd just hold on to them.

New price: As you can see in the discussion above, I initially listed these for sale at $5,000. I knew it was unlikely that they would sell at that price: I was torn on the idea of selling them because I thought I may want them again, but decided I would sell them anyway for a great price. Now that I know I am not planning to go back to stock, I will try to sell these at a more reasonable price. I'm looking for $3,000 not including shipping and paypal fees. I am also open to listening to offers. This is for the seats only (no door cards, armrest, etc.). I also have a headliner for sale if anyone happens to be interested in that.

Thanks for the advice. I've actually gotten several bites. I did say (as always) that I'm open to offers, and I've gotten some, but I'm unwilling to sell for much less.

Takes this with a grain of salt but you are asking for the seats by them selves what people ask for the full swap. seats, door cards. just keep that in mind witht he offers you are getting

Thanks. I do know that and I know it makes the swap less than ideal. But, again, there just aren't many FR interior e90 pieces for sale to compare to. And, even if there were, at some point it's just not worth selling. As I mentioned early on, the dealer quoted me approximately $9k for the seats alone. 66% off the new price is far better than the discounts I see on used exhausts, wheels, or just about anything else.

But, once again, open to offers.

i know you have gotten A LOT of feedback and i just say this to help you. turner will sell two sportster cs with all hardware for $3600.

i know you will do whatever you want, but just take into consideration what you have listed. i get that demand is high and supply very low. i'm a potential customer, but at that price point rather get the recaros.

Thanks for this as I really do appreciate the feedback.

I would say a couple things about the Recaros. First, I think they're awesome. But the price for the Recaros is for 2 seats instead of a full set of front and rear seats. And, if you want the Recaros to be fox red, the price gets nuts (at least it was when I looked into them). Also, I believe the Recaros are manually adjustable (rather than powered) and are not heated (although I believe you may be able to modify that?). This is not to bash the Recaros...in fact my car now has nonadjustable and nonheated Recaro Profis...but just to say that I think of them as different things. And I think there are reasons why the Sportsters (and the Profis for that matter, which are less expensive than the Sportsters) are drastically less expensive than a new set of e90 leather seats, even though I could imagine many people would rather have the Recaros (as that was my choice). Either way, you would be transforming the interior of your car. Obviously, switching to red would be the most drastic visually, and switching to the Sportsters would add a different feel.
