The rumour has it! M3 V8 Nordschleife in 8.03 min
The number comes from a M3 CSL owner that spend a lot of time with the big boys on N-ring including the Sportauto team. So its big fat chance that this is the Sportauto time for the new M3. Time will tell.
8.03 min with Cup tires. |

Sorry South didnt see you already mentioned it
Time will tell if its with or without Cup tires. I think its with CUP tires since that what they used when comparing to CLK63 BS. |

Isn't the "official" RS4 time 8:09 with semi-R tires? It is a slippery slope when people start using R tires.... They are SO much better than high performance tires.

^ Yeah true ture
However, its easy to make bad assumptions.... Cup or no Cup its a good time. Its great new either way. A set of new tires is not a hard mod for those guys looking to take there new M to the track... If it was the sport + tires then that is even better news....

However I heard the 8:03 was on PS2 (which is not likely any more). Assuming that would indeed best the 997S with the same kind of tires. That's what I meant, did you understand it that way? Best regards, south |
