Has anybody swapped tips before, specifically other brands' tips on Akraprovic exhuast? Correct fitting without having to resort to welding? Thanks

I think this is one of the best sounding systems available right up there with the remus race.

This system is made by a brand we just became the North American importer for called HMS Tuning. They are all hand made to order and you can get them as a standard exhaust or the valved version. Their valved versions are unique because they come with a sound switch for inside the car so you can make the car louder or quieter at any speed and at any RPM by flipping the switch.

We have completely sold out all of their available 2013 build slots except for two week 50 and 51. Week 52 and Week 1 2014 they are closed.

TMS Test Pipes with AE Performance Rear Section.

Best Sounding Exhaust setup I have heard for the S65 thus far!

All I can say is very happy with Eisenmann Sport - no drone and just loud enough for a DD.

I bought a used M Performance exhaust with 8,000 miles. It still isn't "loud". From the outside, it was louder immediately but in the car it is very subtle.

Drone? What drone? The M Performance exhaust sounds stock from the inside under all conditions except acceleration. The more go-pedal, the louder it gets.

The MPE remains the one and only exhaust I've had that absolutely doesn't drone. The other was Dinan to their credit, but the fit/finish of that exhaust was terrible. Every other exhaust I've had over the years on my BMWs do drone (some more than others) no matter what people say.

Good posting. I am in the process of selecting a system.
My research comes down:
1. FABSPEED X pipe with dual resonators for $785 with 15hp and 8 ft/lbs
2.AFE 49-36321 HFC with X pipe dual resonators for $1675 with 19hp and 8 ft/lbs (based on the published dyno test)
In my opinion the list expensive option with reasonable gains comes down to the Fabspeed
