GTA Drivers - Where Did You Go For Dinan Parts?
Hi Everyone,
I'm located in the GTA area, and wondering where people have gone to get their Dinan parts. I checked with Budds Oakville who is an authorized dealer, but they want ~$2400 for the stage 1 suspension and installation. I'm looking to get the stage 1 suspension, camber plates and brakes (I know they're just rebadged Brembo GTs). So where did you folks end up going to get your stuff? PS. Let's not turn this into a pro/anti Dinan thread. These are the mods i'm looking to do, and we can debate their merits in the other ongoing threads. |

I bought my stuffs @ EA but I just heard that they are no longer carrying Dinan, I guess Budds is now the only authorized dealer. My other way to get Dinan is buy from an US authorized dealer and ship to an US address (friend or courier's pick up centre), pick them up by myself and install it at other places rather than an authorized dealer (cause they charge it by using the Dinan's recommended hours plus using a terrible exchange rate). Hope this will help you out.

Just buy the stuff from Dinan directly and get Bimmersport (sponsor on this board from Mississauga) to install. They do great work. They have done a bunch of stuff for me. They are an AA dealer also. (if that interests you at all)

Or try Maranello BMW in Woodbridge, infact my body shop also deals with Dinan Parts and can help you out if you send me some details of what exactly you want i.e. VIN and part numbers. |

Thanks, I'll check in with Maranello (didn't think they dealt at all with Dinan), since that's where I got my car. The first part i'm looking at D190-9031 (stage 1 suspension for E92 with EDC).

Give them a call and let me know what price they quoted you and lets see if its reasonable enough otherwise I can ask my bodyshop, since they are also an official BMW workshop as well.

Cross Avenue Auto in Oakville is a Dinan dealer.
When did EA stop dealing with Dinan? They were a Dinan dealer for such a long time.

Engineered Automotive @ Concord
http://engineeredauto.autotrader.ca/...ship/about.htm Very pricey. Maranello / Parkview / Autohaus will send your cars there to get the work done anyway. In turn, the dealer gets a cut of the sales. |
