Hey everyone, I have a set of RS05RR's on order for my 2011 E92 M3.

Wheel Sizes:
18x9.5 +22 - Front
18x10.5 +23 - Rear

Just wondering if anyone has any good info on tire sizes to run. I'm thinking 265/35 front and 295/35 or 295/30 rear. I am not finding any good info on what others run so would like to get some ideas from here.

295/30/18 is a full inch smaller diameter than stock. I would not choose that size unless you are running an R-comp tire that isn't available in a 35 series.

295/35/18 is very consistent with stock diameter. However it will not fit with a 10.5 et23 wheel (you need at least et25). It will rub on the painted fender and no amount of camber will eliminate the rub.

285/35/18 is the best size tire for that wheel spec IMO

That wheel is available in 11" et30 IIRC. That width and offset would allow you to run 295/35/18 tires which is what I would consider.

Lastly, I would run 275/35/18 in the front but 265/35/18 is an easier fit. 275's will require about -1.7 camber.

IMO I would run 245/40 front and 285/35 rear. I'm running the same but my rears are 11"

Why so narrow in the front? 40mm stagger is a bit much IMO; unless you have your suspension tuned for it (understeer). I find that the front end grip of a 275 is wonderful in aggressive driving / track use. I will say that you won't notice the difference of a big stagger front to rear during mild street use.

I don't know, I just really like the 245/40 and it gives it that nice RWD raked, bigger tire rear look. You're also right, it's easy to adjust the alignment to dial out the understeer too. I think 245/40 is stock front size for the 219 wheels?

As Slicer mentioned, that front tire size is not the optimum choice for a 9.5 wheel. 265/35 or 275/35 would be the correct front tire.

I would run either:

265/35/18
285/35/18

or

275/35/18
295/35/18

Actually it is a recommended size for a 9.5 wheel, as is a 285 for the 11". IMO optimum size is relative to preference as long as they are both within the manufactures recommended sizes.
