Can anyone help with tpms question?

I just purchased the tpms sensors from tire rack. My invoice says uts the
433mhz ones, which should be the oem ones. My question is do I need to do anything once I install them on the new wheels? Or will the computer automatically read it?

Providing the vehicle wasn't driven, you should be fine. Worst case scenario, it just needs to be reset within the iDrive menu.

Nothing requires a dealer trip if that's what you're asking about.

+1. Just hit the TPMS reset, then drive until it learns the new sensors. Props to BMW for this. Some other brands require a dealer visit every time.

Yea thank you BMW. On my c6 z06 you had to go to the dealer everytime for a reset or if you rotated the tires.

What kind of wheels did you get?
