Kidney grille question

The right kidney grille pictured is a bit faded. I just got the car and don't know the brand, but can I sand both and clear coat? Or should I sand and paint gloss black, or wrap in vinyl?

You could certainly to that but it might well be quicker /cheaper to buy a new gloss black grill set. I think I got mine from IND...
