I'd be scared shitless doing that with a lack of oxygen, downforce, and ability to warm the tires and brakes at that altitude.

I was wondering the same thing - I don't know! I know that you can lose as much as 20% at 5,000 ft, so at 18k feet...it has to be a substantial loss.
