well bimmerfest is starting to get a little out of hand. Its just way to big its nuts! i mean don't get me wrong its a great show but i miss the caravans to the event when it was in SB and also at bimmerfest its just a show, so if your interested in getting info on a supercharger for example you can only go and look at it. At mfest you can see it in action and not only that but see it in action up against the competitors! thats a lot more exciting for me.

yea BMW is really cracking down this year on BMW dealerships when it comes to servicing modified cars. i would suggest you ask Warren and see what he thinks before you do it just in case. You might be ok with just a axle back but i dont know.

well i was running late so i didn't get a chance to warm up i went straight to the first tee. I had yet to hit any of the irons up to that point. the first swing i took with the clubs i noticed the extra weight in the clubs due to the added .25" to the length of the clubs. i had to really slow down. So far i would say i rank them a b-. I am easily able to shape the ball left to right and straight but am having issues working it right to left. the clubs just go straight! haha thats not a bad thing but def need to put in a little more time into the new custom settings.

wow really cool! what about the C@tless X pipe? will it pass smog and does it throw up any engine lights that you know of? so no welding needs to be done?
why do people even spell it like that? lol
Thanks

Jimmy

i have played the same set of irons for 2 years now bc i had been hitting them so well i never wanted to change. however they are worn out, the grooves are gone almost. So it was time to get new clubs. my old set were standard length 1 deg upright the new set they fitted me .25" extra length and 1 degree flat. So a lot different. but ill be dialed in soon

Catless x-pipe will probably not pass smog... and it likely will throw a code unless you get a tune.

if you get a bolt-on rear section then no welding needs to be done.

i don't know anyone who spells it that way?

okay so the rear section is good.. thanks for ur input.

Have you personally heard the Race and Sport from Gintani? is there a big difference?

so can you take out the X pipe just as easy as the rear exhaust?

o on the N54 forum people dont spell out the word for some reason. idk.

thanks

i haven't installed an x-pipe myself so i can't comment... best to search the forum for DIYs and decide if you are mechanically inclined enough to accomplish the task.

I'll be headed to my sponsor's shop to have my x-pipe made next week. I'm supposed to go Monday but something came up and i'll probably go on Wednesday. Hopefully i'll have some pictures to post.
