I've heard differently. After a bit of research i've found that invoice is approximately 91% of MSRP. (also have heard 92% for the car and 91% for accessories).

I am also getting 92% of invoice with my dealer, who I am very happy with (giving me 500 over invoice, which works out to 92% over invoice and includes MACO/destination etc.) I don't think the guy above is totally off by his price because I am getting about the same discount. his final numbers of 885 a month don't work out the same as mine.

I'm somehow getting a residual of 58% (12k miles per year), and my dealer says residual is 56% for 15k miles. Hope dealer doesn't switch it up at the last minute!

That's correct; residual for 10K is 59% as well.

How do you get in touch with David? I have already emailed Ryan and left him a voice message yesterday. He's probably up to his neck in work returning back after a gap. Neways, thought I will talk to David too while I am at it!!

For anyone who needs immediate questions and quotes, this Greg is great, even helping me after my purchase from a different, local dealer. He can arrange for European Delivery or Performance Center delivery if you're not out west. Only reason I ended up going local is because my dealer had the last 2011. Here's Greg's info:

First-timer here, I'll try not to make any of the major n00b-mistakes.

Been a BMW CCA member for over a decade (probably close to 2 decades) and, yet, having known about the existence of European Delivery my whole life, I still never looked into it-- I had zero idea it could actually save a few $$ (besides all it's other appeals, of course) so I've been ploughing through these threads with great interest. I figured it would-- all told-- be -more- expensive.

If I -can- n00b-out for a second, can I ask 2 very basic questions which I can't *quite* seem to get a grasp on:

1. this car: M3 cabrio, Jerez, DCT, PDC, winter, nav., premium sound (basically "loaded" (whatever packages they condensed the former ones into) but with no interior customizations, etc.) also 18" wheels-- not 19".

What would one expect to save (very roughly-- or a range) over buying here, locally? I've been reading the threads with the 7% +(?) 7% (or whatever it is) but I just can't quite seem to get a handle on it... any help *much* appreciated.

2. If one ordered now-- conservatively-- what month would on expect to be able to pick the car up in Germany?

THANKS in advance for any guidance.

If you would like to know exacts to your questions instead of estimates you can shoot Ryan an email and he will be able to shoot you a quote along with a delivery date. We are closed on sundays so if you don't hear anything back right away you will monday.

You can also scan this thread as well as the 2011 pricing thread to find some awesome info. GLW your journey and welcome to the forum

Thanks for the warm welcome. Email to Ryan has been sent (actually sent it a few hours before I even posted! -- it was quite evident early on that he's the man to talk to if a serious buyer) and I eagerly look forward to his reply.

As well, the idea of reviewing the 2011 version of this thread in determining expected discount is an excellent one-- definitely not a thread I had happened upon (nor was looking for)-- so big thanks for that as well.

He sure did! And, I suppose like most people here, I simply could not be any more impressed with Ryan's service, attitude, friendliness, humor, experience and knowledge.

Will be ordering as soon as I can get him my documents and info. Spent literally all day today reading here, and will go out tonight completely confident about exactly how, where, when and how much my new M3 cabrio will be. <end of months-long search>

Thanks to this great forum!
