I'm taking Friday off to drive up in the late afternoon. Can't wait to get back out to Chuckwalla and see if I can best my 1:57.3 (CW) even though I'll only be running NT01s/RA1s vs. R6s.

Took my good friend to that same event last year. It was his first time on track and he loved it. Going again this year with him. I'll bring both my M3 and GT3 so should be fun.

Nice, which car will you be out on the track with? I might have someone who can keep up now. I'll be on NT01s/RA1s so you'll be able to keep up.

I'll try morning with the M3 until I'm fed up with the car overheating and I'll switch to the GT3. And don't worry about which tires you're running, I'd keep up anyway... Get that point point ready for me

It's been a while since I've given a point by, we'll see if I need to remember how it's done.

Excited for this weekend!

Looks like the weather is cooperating. It will be warm but not crazy.

Praying that there is no sandstorm. I don't want to spend 3 hours vacuuming again...

It would have been nice to catch the high 70s but I'll take mid 80s with no wind. As long as you stay in the shade, it's very comfortable (I was out there in early March with POC and it was 82-85).

I have an EZUP... But won't be there. Next time,I'll drop it off at your place. It just sits in a storage unit most of the year.

Iit fits in the front seat with 4 wheels in back.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Thanks for the offer. I actually have one as well and bring it to the track every time. I was just being facetious with Trojan.

I heard that early-registration will be available 6-8PM Friday at the Royal Plaza Inn.

Address: 82347 California 111, Indio, CA 92201

http://goo.gl/maps/ZsbA3

Can anyone recommend any good restaurants in the area on Friday Night?

In Indio? Good luck with that.

Good restaurants are over at Palm Desert, Indian Wells, etc. 6~12 miles from Indio.

Yes, wishful thinking. I don't need Michelin Star rated restaurant. If there is a killer dive taqueria nearby I'm all for it.
