Just got a new Job...Start in 2 weeks

Well I'm a helicopter pilot and I've been looking for a new job and a new adventure...So i got one.. But it's making me live in Louisiana for two weeks then off for two weeks at home(2 on 2 off..Half the year

)...Something I have to get use to I guess...
So I'll be flying oil workers to the oil rid out in the gulf... Can't wait

Any type of pilot is going to have a weird schedule, but that doesn't even sound too bad.

My friends dad used to do that. Now he is the boss of that stuff doing the scheduling but still does the 2 weeks on 2 weeks off thing. No more flying for him unless he needs to. Its a stable job and well paying so good work.

That's a pretty awesome job! My father's an airline pilot and I've always been a little jelly of him being able to fly for a living. Congrats and fly safe.
