So my CCC module is fried - I'm curious if this will fix my woes? Willing to part out just the drive piece?

If it's just your hard drive then it will fix the issue. A simple plug and play

Ccc's don't have hard drives

thats correct i was referring to the CCC unit as a hard drive. Even though it does not have one like the CIC.
