Inside window sill wear repair?
The inside black window sill right above the armrest on the door on my m3 is worn down and kind of feels like a tacky rubber material now.
I'm guessing the previous owner must have always rested his arm/elbow on it so that areas is all worn out and not smooth like the rest of the dash. Is there a way to repair it without replacing the entire door panel? Perhaps there's a special interior dash paint? Not my pic but basically where the light is shining in the upper left corner is where it's all worn down. |

I'd replace the door card entirely; it's not cheap, but it won't look like shit as if it were painted or that plasti-crap were applied.

A pic would help of your actual car, though. I'm sure a proper cleaning and conditioning of the area would improve the look, but it's hard to tell without any actual pictures.
